Cameroon covers 475,650 km² on the new Equal Earth world map, 0.3% of all land on Earth. It ranks 53rd of 237 countries worldwide and 24th in Africa. At 6° latitude Mercator only inflates Cameroon by about 1%, so the old and new maps largely agree on it, unlike the far north where Mercator's stretch is dramatic.
For scale, Cameroon is roughly the same size as Yemen (455,503 km²).
You could fit 3 of Bangladesh inside Cameroon.
