Terms of use

New World Size is provided free of charge, "as is", for personal and educational use.
You may share, link to, and embed the interactive map on your own website, provided you keep the built-in credit link back to newworldsize.com that is part of the embed snippet.
You may not resell the site or present it as your own product.
Map data comes from Natural Earth (public domain). Computed areas are approximations derived from that geometry and are provided without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.
We may update the site, its data, and these terms at any time; changes take effect when published here.

Privacy

What we collect

Feedback form: if you submit the feedback form, we store the message you provide, your email address only if you provide it (so we can reply), plus a timestamp and your IP address (for spam rate-limiting only).
No accounts, no ads, no analytics profiling: the map itself works without any personal data. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

How feedback data is used

If you provide an email, it and your message are used solely to reply to your request. By submitting an email, you agree that we may contact you at that address about your request.
Feedback data is kept only as long as needed to resolve your request, then deleted.
Do not include personal or sensitive information you do not want stored in a feedback message.

Embeds

The embeddable iframe loads content from newworldsize.com. When a visitor views the embed on your site, their browser requests the map directly from our servers; we do not profile those visitors.
