Zambia covers 752,612 km² on the new Equal Earth world map, 0.6% of all land on Earth. It ranks 39th of 237 countries worldwide and 17th in Africa. At 13° latitude Mercator only inflates Zambia by about 6%, so the old and new maps largely agree on it, unlike the far north where Mercator's stretch is dramatic.
For scale, Zambia is roughly the same size as Chile (756,102 km²).
You could fit 3 of United Kingdom inside Zambia.
