Liberia covers 111,369 km² on the new Equal Earth world map, 0.1% of all land on Earth. It ranks 105th of 237 countries worldwide and 41st in Africa. At 7° latitude Mercator only inflates Liberia by about 1%, so the old and new maps largely agree on it, unlike the far north where Mercator's stretch is dramatic.
For scale, Liberia is roughly the same size as Cuba (109,884 km²).
