Guyana covers 214,969 km² on the new Equal Earth world map, 0.2% of all land on Earth. It ranks 85th of 237 countries worldwide and 10th in South America. At 5° latitude Mercator only inflates Guyana by about 1%, so the old and new maps largely agree on it, unlike the far north where Mercator's stretch is dramatic.
For scale, Guyana is roughly the same size as United Kingdom (244,376 km²).
You could fit 3 of Ireland inside Guyana.
