Bolivia covers 1,098,581 km² on the new Equal Earth world map, 0.8% of all land on Earth. It ranks 28th of 237 countries worldwide and 5th in South America. At 17° latitude Mercator only inflates Bolivia by about 9%, so the old and new maps largely agree on it, unlike the far north where Mercator's stretch is dramatic.
For scale, Bolivia is roughly the same size as Ethiopia (1,104,300 km²).
You could fit 3 of Germany inside Bolivia.
