Burkina Faso covers 274,200 km² on the new Equal Earth world map, 0.2% of all land on Earth. It ranks 75th of 237 countries worldwide and 29th in Africa. At 12° latitude Mercator only inflates Burkina Faso by about 5%, so the old and new maps largely agree on it, unlike the far north where Mercator's stretch is dramatic.
For scale, Burkina Faso is roughly the same size as New Zealand (268,838 km²).
You could fit 3 of Jordan inside Burkina Faso.
