Honduras covers 112,492 km² on the new Equal Earth world map, 0.1% of all land on Earth. It ranks 104th of 237 countries worldwide and 6th in North America. At 15° latitude Mercator only inflates Honduras by about 7%, so the old and new maps largely agree on it, unlike the far north where Mercator's stretch is dramatic.
For scale, Honduras is roughly the same size as Cuba (109,884 km²).
