Oman covers 309,500 km² on the new Equal Earth world map, 0.2% of all land on Earth. It ranks 71st of 237 countries worldwide and 20th in Asia. At 21° latitude Mercator only inflates Oman by about 14%, so the old and new maps largely agree on it, unlike the far north where Mercator's stretch is dramatic.
For scale, Oman is roughly the same size as Poland (312,685 km²).
You could fit 3 of Iceland inside Oman.
